A perfect bowl that can be used for every meal of the day.
Whether it's for preparing a or serving a meal or both this is a great bowl for you.
Years ago I made myself a number of bowls like these in different sizes.
We use them soooo much....
...... for serving, cous cous, salads, new potatoes, salsas, bean salads, spicey chickpeas, honeyed carrots, potatas bravas, ....... have I missed anything!
It seems a bit selfish not to have made any for you! So here you are.
I threw this bowl on the potters wheel using a strong stoneware clay. I then turned the base to make a foot ring. It was then fired to a bisque before being glazed in this wonderful rich orange russett with a contrasting rim and refired to 1220C.
