G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland after this date. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I don't think my business can afford the EU agent that is required.
LAST POSTING DATES: UK - 14 DEC; REST OF WORLD - 1 DEC. Please note, I'm happy to post items after these dates, but delivery speeds can be reduced due to large volume of Christmas post, so Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.

I just love this paper from Japan! It is still made in the traditional way of block printing - even the fibre they use is different to western paper!

These cute cactus earrings have been carefully decorated with Japanese Washi or Chyogami paper in shades of green and metallic gold leaf pattern. Japanese Chyogami paper is hand block printed layer by layer, each colour added one at a time, with the final colour usually gold or silver metallic detailing of the pattern.
I have used decopage techniques to adhere the paper to the wooden cactus in a pot shape, finally adding a layer of clear embossing powder for a glossy effect! The back of the cactus shape has been painted with artists quality green metallic acrylic paint.
The cactus is approximately 4cm long by 1cm wide, and I've used surgical steel silver plated ear posts with rubber ear nuts (if you prefer surgical steel scroll backs, please let me know in the notes section).
They come to you in a recycled kraft card jewellery box.
