I love finding these Indian cottons.They always have a fabulous colour combination like this one here, with its orange, maroon and green.(Shouldn’t work, but absolutely does!) and they use a wonderful hand blocked printmaking technique.

Vintage Indian hand printed fabric slouchy across your body bag.
There’s a nostalgic waft of patchouli oil in the air. This across your body bag is made from a vibrant vintage Indian hand blocked print. A sweet reminder of the 1970’s and being re-evaluated again today, for its fabulous use of colour and superb printing techniques.
This is a slouchy, lightweight bag, great for folding up and taking on your hols or to the beach. It is designed to wear with the strap across the body, and would suit someone tall, or it can be shortened by tying it in a knot. Its strong mix of colour and design means it still looks cool today.
The fabric is light weight cotton, and the bag is lined throughout with the same fabric, making it two layers.
It measures 34cm across its widest point.
It tapers to 30cm at its narrowest point.
From the lowest part of the scoop to the base, it measures 32cm.
There is a tuck at either end, forming a base of 4 cm wide.
The actual length of the strap is 118 cm, but taking into account the scoop design, it feels more like 130 cm.
There is an vintage real leather button and loop closure.
The bag is finished off with one of my embroidered name tags.
Hand printed fabrics hold a lot of dye, so please wash separately in cool water and line dry.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your bag will be posted out using clean, re-cycled packaging.
It will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class, with certificate of posting, which takes 3 working days.
