My dementia fidget blankets are made with love , and no two are alike. and fabrics change all he time the photos are to give you n idea of what they look like ,...These fidget blankets are very helpful for maintaining fine motor skills and encouraging activities of daily living such as using buttons, zippers, laces, , etc. In addition, the fabric prints can evoke fond memories, the activities keep restless minds and fingers busy, and the various fabrics, ribbons beads and bells and squeakers which all stimulate

The top layer of the knee blanket is made of a variety of printed fabrics to awaken the sense and activities to entertain and engage. and the bottom layer of fleece, it helps keep the fidget blanket from slipping off a lap.

NOTE The back of the photo fob can be prised off by using a pin so you can add a photo or name
The lavender bag is not an attachment for the blanket, it is to keep the blanket fresh in transit and you can use it in a drawer or wardrobe after do not attach to blanket thank you

My very dear friend who has now passed had dementia vascular alzheimer's and would get very agitated so I started making various things to help him keep his hands occupied to stop him picking at his skin and being very restless and getting distressed I then made him one of these blankets and it worked so well for him , I made a few more for other residents in his care home , I now make them to sell keeping the price realistic and am able to donate to the Alzheimer's society and other charities
