This is a hand knitted twiddle muff/mitt which is a helpful sensory aid for those with dementia, Alzheimer’s and autism
This hand knitted muff is made up of a variety of yarns and wool and adorned with many different attachments.
There are a few twiddly bits inside too.
These muffs can provide a great source of visual, tactile and sensory stimulation. It keeps restless hands busy and soothes and comforts those who are anxious or agitated.
They also keep your hands warm and toasty
