Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.

Full description
This simply made little drawstring pouch is made from beautiful charcoal Lithuanian linen off-cuts (with thanks to Phaedra Clothing in Cornwall) and embellished on the front with a heart made from my own handmade felt, with the added twinkle of a few hand-stitched sequins and a pretty button to finish.
This pouch has many uses, for example as the perfect gift for a teacher, filled with a few little chocolates, also as wrapping for a small piece of jewellery, or perhaps kept as a special place to keep a tooth, in readiness for a visit from the Tooth Fairy!
The pouch measures approximately 9cm across x 9.5cm tall, has a plain linen back and drawstrings of white ribbon.
