i have to admit, the rook is probably the strangest looking of all the birds in the corvid family! A very pointy bird, and a little sinister too. I'm fascinated with the seemingly endless variations birds have with their wings, beaks, eyes, claws,feathers and their personalities.

A 2-colour hand-printed linocut entitled 'Rook'.
Following on from my 'Crow', 'Blackbird', 'Jackdaw' and 'Raven' prints, here is the next in my series of black bird prints. I love the challenge of working out the detail on their almost-silhouetted form.
Black and lilac ink on off-white Daler-Rowney 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 100, signed and numbered.
The print image measures H15xW10.5cm.
The paper measures H30xW20cm
All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
