I loved it when I found this hand embroidered tablecloth at a car boot. Although it was damaged, it still had potential. There will be a range of pieces from this fabric in my shop soon.

Vintage floral embroidered purse, make up, or keepsakes bag.
This sweetest sentimental embroidery was part of a huge torn and tattered tablecloth. This little section shoehorned into a small, but perfectly formed zip up bag. Perfect for a Summer evening purse, holiday makeup, or as a pretty bag for memories and mementos.
The embroidery is on the front and back of this little purse. It is stitched onto canvas to give it some strength.
It measures 16cm across.
It measures 12cm down.
There is a lilac zip opening of 16cm.
There is a scattering of mother of pearl buttons on each side.
There is an embroidered hook so you can hang it up somewhere special as a piece of craftwork in its own right.
There is a floral poly cotton lining.
It is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash gently and leave to dry naturally. Iron whilst slightly damp, being mindful of where the buttons are!
I like to reuse where possible. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging.
It will be posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class with certificate of posting- which takes about 3 working days. Let me know if you want it quicker and need an upgrade!
