We don't see many starfish on the Norfolk coast - or on the Welsh coast where I grew up - but I have found one or two in a rockpool. Because they're so rare, to me they symbolise everything that's magical about the sea and beachcombing - truly stars of the sea. This one was moulded from fine silver clay then fired and polished by hand before linking it up with a small beaded charm. All my necklaces come packed in a small kraft box on a soft bed of cotton wadding.
