This shape of mug for us here means hot chocolate in the boot of the car after a windy beach day, cold hands wrapped round soft curves - if they are lucky I will have remembered squirty cream and marshmallows......'Mavis' (the big old French enamel camping kettle) will have done her job again and we can set off home with the smell of wet dog and sand EVERYWHERE in the car.

Full description

This is the loveliest shape, comfortable to hold, one of our favourite shapes at home. This is a hand painted piece and each one is completely unique. I paint in food safe underglaze colour and use lead free glaze. I fire to high earthenware - which makes these suitable for dishwashing but not for oven use - they get too hot. This design is called 'Hares and graces' the face of the hare is a 'selfie' with the ears lopping over the rim of the mug.

This mug is 10cm tall and holds 450ml (just over 3/4 pint) not bad for a brew!

Each piece has a red heart on the handle, it is back stamped and signed and I attach an artist information leaflet to the handle with jute string. I wrap in tissue before using recycled material to pack - usually bubble wrap from the fruit sections of our supermarkets. I post out using first class Royal Mail Signed for service.

Thanks for looking, any questions please do feel free to ask.
