Looking at folk art patterns on narrow boats, and cultural folk designs, I was inspired to create an intricate design celebrating aspects of traditional folk art.

A hand carved and hand printed linocut card perfect for Valentine's day, or any occasion!
Available in rich red.
The card size is 12.4 cm x 17.4 cm.
The folk heart image has been printed on a large sized, heavyweight quality card which has a hammered texture. This texture gives a lovely luxury effect to the card.
This design is inspired by cultural folk art patterns, and derives from my original drawing. The image was sketched directly onto a piece of lino, and the white areas were carved away leaving a raised surface to be inked up and printed.
The card is left blank inside and comes with a white envelope.
