Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again.
I will be re-stocking slowly but surely after Christmas, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

What a great fabric. I found it at the York Car Boot, and it’s scrubbed up so nicely. I don’t know its age, but it is very reminiscent of little girls’ pinafores from the 1970’s.I would like to think it is that old. It looks the part as a practical little storage bag.

Retro floral corduroy toiletries or make up bag .
This pretty retro floral corduroy make up bag would make a great gift.The dark background is sprinkled with coloured flowers in a 1970s style. It is nostalgic, but stylish.
The fabric is first sewn onto a canvas backing to give it some strength.
It measures 24cm across the bottom.
The height measures 16cm.
There is a gold zip opening of 21cm across the top.
There is a tuck at each end, creating a base of 3cm wide.
There is a complementary bright orange patterned vintage cotton lining.
There is a hook on the RHS for twirling round your finger, or for hanging up somewhere special as a little piece of artwork in its own right.
The bag is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash gently in cool water, and allow it to dry naturally.
I like to reuse as much as possible. Your little bag will arrive packaged in clean, recycled wrapping.
It will be sent out to you with proof of posting by Royal Mail 1st class.
