I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use either special delivery or track 24 so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). I cut and polish my own fordite, surfite and bowlerite, I'm happy to take commissions. If I don't have shipping to your country set up please drop me a message as it might be possible.

This super sparkly pendant features a square cabochon of fordite bezel set in sterling silver. The fordite has been polished to give it a pattern of sparkly diamonds layered on top of each other in shades of silver grey, bright blue, cherry red, black and white, it is set in an open back setting so that it can be worn either way round and the back is predominately pale grey with bands of sparkly dark grey and a bright blue splodge. Very striking and eye catching so you are sure to get comments about it but this is a unisex design that I think could be worn by anyone day or night.
So what is fordite - its layers of cured car paint that built up in the old manual spray booths at car plants, my research suggests that this piece came from Ford's plant in Wayne, Michigan probably around 2015 (Ford are not associated with this product though), people who worked in the booths would take the paint build up home as a curio and it then ended up in the hands of lapidarists and jewellers. The method for painting cars has now changed so the rough fordite is only formed in small quantities and is increasingly difficult to get hold of so if you are a fan of cars (or looking for a gift for a petrol head) I'd get some quick (I'm stock piling it whilst I can).
Measures 40mm by 34mm excluding the generous ring at the top and comes with a 18 inch sterling silver chain (the ring at the top could easily take a leather cord and if you'd prefer that then drop me a message). Comes in a gift box.
