Hand Carved Bird, Carved from Sycamore with abstract colouring.

Hand Carved with axes and knives from a piece of sustainably sourced Sycamore. This bird is a lovely little sculpture measuring 16cm in length and 6cm in height. It has been left with a faceted knife finish. Colour has then been added in an abstract manner before being lightly sanded to give wooden highlights through the colour. The piece has then been oiled to protect it.

The piece is a collaboration with our 4 year old son and is the first sculpture that we’ve offered for sale as such.
