machine & hand embroidered zombie panda (in stylish winter wear) – “Frank”
zombie panda measures 28cm (11 inches) from the top of his stupid ears to the tips of his felted slipper-clad toes.
with his arms outstretched, he has a glorious 36cm (14 inch) wingspan.
i’ve hand dyed the cotton calico corpse-grey, then linen & cotton fabrics have been appliqued, the details are drawn on using freehand machine embroidery. his tummy patch, and the heart on his bottom, feature a pale blue snowflake print cotton.
textural details have been added to both the front and back of the panda, with hand embroidered french knots, and his eyeballs are hand embroidered.
(frank’s felted lambswool outfit & red hand knit scarf are just a bit of festive dress-up fun – and are included)
panda been made entirely on a domestic sewing machine – there is no computerised wizardry in my work - everything is cut, stitched & drawn freehand by me.
zombie panda is made from heavy weight calico. he’s stuffed with polyester filling (CE & BS5852), and finished by hand.
i pre-wash all of my fabrics so they’re soft and shouldn’t shrink if washed – whilst every care’s been taken, please wash with dark colours as dye may run, and colours will fade.
