Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.

This lavender filled sachet would make a lovely Christmas gift; a ‘little something’ for a friend, relative or work colleague, perhaps a 'Secret Santa' present or a little stocking filler.
The mistletoe motif has been hand-stitched in embroidery silks and embellished with sequin and button ‘berries’ onto a natural, unbleached calico, backed with a soft cream felt and lightly filled with dried lavender. The beautiful scent of lavender makes this sachet a perfect addition to any doorknob, bedstead or cupboard handle, or pop into a drawer or wardrobe to add a subtle scent to clothing.
The sachet measures approx. 9cm x 11cm, excluding its hanging ribbon.
