This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
An 8 point star formed from rainbow colours with each point split into a dark / lighter shade of the colour to give a 3-D effect.
In the hole in the centre I've hung a gorgeous sparkly octagonal crystal.
The suncatcher is 15cm in diameter and hangs from a silvery chain which s securely attached by solder to the top. The central hole is reinforced for strength with twisted wire.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use different variations of colour and textures of glass.
It looks stunning hanging in the light and is equally lovely against a light coloured wall.
It reflects its colours beautifully and the crystal sparkles in the light.
I can make this design in other colours if you prefer, please contact me if you do..
The 5th photo shows the previous suncatcher of this design so you can see that they are different though to the same pattern,
A star is for life not just for Christmas.
There is nothing which says that a star must be made from clear glass.
I like rainbows, I like stars, I can make stained glass I therefore make Rainbow Stars.
Please note : POSTAL CHARGES : . I always part-refund postage via Paypal where more than one piece is ordered to allow for combined postal charge. I do this as soon as I receive your order.
