Full description
Glazed in sage green and cream is this mug was made on Mecki's wheel of a lovely creamy white stoneware clay. Drawn by Zanna, the sheep and leaf images were fused deep into the glaze during a third firing lasting 7 hours during which the kiln temperature was slowly raised to 850 degrees. At that temperature the glaze softens and absorbs the images so they're there to stay without fading or marking.
