My boyfriend loves steampunk and this was made for his birthday. My first attempt at a steampunk card, was very flat and although it had all the images of victorian times, it didn't look good.
I decided to create texture and use some Tim Holtz textured paste with a stencil onto some designer paper, plus added die-cut cogs from copper foil sheets. Embellishments added from Tim Holtz Ephemera set and the card aged with black and dark brown inks.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A striking birthday card handmade, this is a Steampunk inspired by love of clocks and butterflies. Textured paste was stencilled onto the designer paper. Tim Holtz's Ephemera images were used to add texture and layers to this card. Die-cut cogs in copper then aged.
The card is personalised on the front, the envelope and the two matching tags.
