This item is made from a blend of silver plated copper wire and red copper wire, weaved by hand and studded with Swarovski crystal elements. When I created it, I called it the "Winner's medal - because to me it looked like a medal.

The pendant itself was a dream made reality from the wish to combine the two colours, at the time the blend of silver and copper red was the hype. It is a large round pendant which will go well with a long chain.

Size: 8 cm long; 5 cm wide

Can be worn as a day time or an evening piece. This is indeed a "statement piece" pendant, so you will stand out from the crowd wherever you go.

When bought it will come in a handy storage pouch for safe keeping; and a silver plated chain ready to wear. If this is meant as a gift please contact me and I can update the packaging to a jewellery box.

The design for this item came from the wish to combine two metals; silver and copper. It was conceived to either be a pendant or Christmas tree decoration. In the end it rendered itself to being a pendant.
The copper and silver plate layers superimposed on each other to create the dual effect of colors; and the black Swarovski crystals complete the design.
It is a chunky pendant which will hang beautifully on a 24 inch or longer chain and will compliment an evening ensemble really well.
As you can see from my pictures, this was on paper first and then became a real piece of art.
Though I could perhaps reproduce it, I chose to make only one, so as to keep it a one of a kind item, a wearable piece of art.
