Full description
This dramatic bracelet really makes a statement. It is a Kumihimo bracelet, which has been hand braided from eight strands and knotted after every individual bead to create the spiral pattern.
I used two contrasting colours of beads - a glossy bright gold and a matt green, which has a slight purple iridescence to it when moved, giving the bracelet a lovely fluid appearance.
The beads used are magatama seed beads, which are pointed with an off centre threading hole, which creates the stunning 'dragon scale' effect of the bracelet.
The bracelet fastens with a unique round gold plated magnet, which not only looks great but means there's no fiddly catch to deal with when putting the bracelet on.

I would be able to lengthen this bracelet on request by adding links between the braided part and clasp, but i would not be able to lengthen it due to the way it is made.
All my jewellery is sent gift wrapped with tissue paper and ribbon and comes with an organza gift bag.
