I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use track 24 or special delivery so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). Full description
These swivel back cufflinks feature round cabochons of detroit fordite bezel set in sterling silver. The fordite features a stripy pattern of predominantly white with black, sparkly silver and occasional bands of red and yellow. These cufflinks would add a splash of the unusual to any suit to break the corporate monotony. Fordite is the ideal gift for any one with a passion for cars as it is layer upon layer of cured paint that built up in the spray booths before extraction and electrospray processes were introduced ('raw' fordite is no longer formed and it is getting increasingly hard to find). The material used in these cufflinks is believed to have come from one of the Detroit car plants as they tend to produce the more monochrome palette, if you would like something brighter or a pair with chain and bar backs then drop me a message and I'll send you photos of the material I have in my stash. Update - further research indicates that the material in these cufflinks might have come from Ford's plant in Hazelwood, Mo. in the early 2000's before the plant shut in 2006.
Cabochons are round ish and a near matched pair measuring approx 18mm across (about 3/4 inch). Fitted with standard swivel backs which have an arm length of 15mm, the entire cufflink is about 20mm deep when closed. Comes gift boxed.
