Full description

This listing is for a Knitting Pattern in pdf format to make the cat themed hat pictured and not the actual item.

The hat has a ribbed welt and a stocking stitch body with a Fair Isle cat repeat pattern encircling the lower section of the hat body; when paired together, the cats’ tails form the shape of a heart. The motifs are worked using only two colours in a row, with the exception of the cats’ eyes row, which makes this an ideal pattern for those new to the Fair Isle technique.

The pattern covers sizes from toddler to adult and the instructions are written for both knitting flat on two needles with a seam at the back, or in the round using a circular needle with no seaming necessary. You may, therefore, only wish to print the appropriate pages for your chosen project. You will need Aran weight yarn, 4.5mm (UK 7)/US 7 needles (single point for knitting flat or circular for knitting in the round), a tapestry needle and stitch markers.

There are no postage costs - the pattern will be emailed as a pdf file within 48 hours of payment being received, to the email address registered with Folksy unless you let me know otherwise. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open this pdf file, if you do not have this programme it is free to download from www.adobe.com
