From a young age I have always enjoyed art and craft work, making things for myself and others. In later life I began to concentrate on sewing and knitting, followed by pattern design, firstly for machine knitters and then hand knitters. My interest in designing for babies and children started upon the arrival of my own children and now that they are growing up I have more time to turn my hobby into a small business. However, where the children left off, three cats have taken over vying for my attention!
I enjoy the whole design process, from the initial idea to knitting up the sample garment, writing the pattern, photographing the various construction stages and, finally, photographing the completed garment to promote my pattern.
Inspired by the countryside and my childhood farming background, my designs are themed around the great outdoors!
