This opal brooch is from our Asymmetrical range of jewellery. John initially started work on this range many years ago. Since then it has grown and organically developed into the great range that we have today. We are very proud of this range and always enjoy working on it.

Full description
This handmade brooch is designed to complement our Asymmetrical range of jewellery. It is made from sterling silver with brass decoration and features one of our wonderful 6mm lab. grown blue opal triplets, which is set in a brass bezel. This brooch measures 30mm x 30mm and we design and make the stencils which are hand-embossed into the silver to create an interesting surface pattern. Our maker's mark 'J&DF' can be found punched into the silver on the back of the brooch.
We have a choice of gemstones: Amber, Amethyst, Aqua Chalcedony, Garnet, White moonstone, Lapis lazuli, Turquoise and lab. grown gemstones which are Red and Blue opal triplets, Pink corundum, Blue and Green spinels and Peridot quartz, please make your choice from the drop-down box. This contemporary brooch has been finished with a clear, protective, anti-tarnish coating and it comes in one of our branded gift boxes.
We exhibit and sell our jewellery through quality Craft/Design centres and Art galleries throughout the U.K. as well as through the Dazzle contemporary jewellery exhibitions and our own website. We also feature in the Craft Council's Directory of Makers.
