Making a trip down to the South Coast in a small VW camper van, ended up being stuck for some time next to the river. As dusk approached out of nowhere this crew of scullers ( 6 oarsmen and one cox) passed by, highlighted against the fading light which was just enough to see them as shapes against the water. Magical.
