Full description
This is a 7 page knitting PATTERN for a 35cm x 35cm (14 ins x 14 ins) cushion cover. This pattern is written as colour charts and written instructions in standard UK knitting terminology. The cushion cover is knitted in separate pieces: two fronts (left and right), back, upper back flap and edging then sewn together. There are two versions for the left front, one is patterned using designs traditionally found on fishermen's ganseys, the other is plain to allow for a personalisation. A blank chart is provided for you to plot a personalisation. There are explanatory photos to show how to sew up the pieces.
Materials required: 1 pair 3,25mm knitting needles, a cable needle, darning (sewing up) needle.
A 35cm/14 ins square cushion pad and 5 buttons.
Rowan Cotton Glace 100% cotton: 3 x 50g 726 Bleached; 2 x 50g 850 Cobalt; 1 x 50g Sky; less than 12g x 741 Poppy; less than 5g x 834 Whey, 727 Black, 730 Oyster.
A knitting kit for this cushion is available to buy from my Folksy shop which provides you with sufficient yarn to knit and sew it up.
