I had a number of stones in soft winter colours which I'd bezelled a few years ago, and put away not knowing how to work them into a finished piece. I finally realised recently that rather than adding lots of extra beads they would look nicest as a simple set, in which the loveliness of the stones could come through. The limestone discs have lovely tiny fossilised shells and sea creatures and subtle cool tones, and I found the two pebbles on the beach at Aldeburgh many years ago.

Full description
This pendant is made from found stones and fossil limestone discs, captured by tiny Japanese seed beads. It's a simple but eye-catching piece which hangs simply from a screw catch wire necklace.
Each stone has been backed with Ultrasuede for comfort, and then captured in a bezel of Miyuki seed beads and delicas in soft shades of matte bronze, matte pewter, earth and just a hint of silver to give a slight sheen. They are joined together by dark bronze fire-polished Czech beads, and are suspended from the necklace wire by two Vintaj dark brass ovals. The points of the ovals help the pendant hang straight, but their width means that you could if you wish pass a larger chain, cord or braid through instead.
The pendant is 11cm long, the largest disc 3cm wide, and the neckwire 43 cm long.
