When I buy and item of clothing (usually second hand/vintage) there is always something that is not quite right. It may be either too long or three sizes too big and when I alter or customise them there is always fabric left behind. I never throw them away as I'm always sure that there may be a use for them! In this case, the fabric used to create this necklace is from the bottom of a Summer dress and tie detail from a garment from a friend.
