Formerly 'Buttons, Beads and Blanket Stitch'.
My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, with sewing playing an occasional part.
Whether working in print or in stitch, I am inspired by the natural world and the people around me, with words/text frequently playing an integral part.

A lovely gift for a teacher, or anyone you would like to say a festive 'thank you' to!
This little stocking measures approx. 10.5cm diagonally from hanging ribbon to toe, and approx. 4.5cm across the top. It has a bright red felt front, onto which is stitched 'ho ho ho' in gold, with the back a lime green felt, featuring 'thanks!' stitched in dark red.
The front features a contrasting strip of green ribbon and the back, a piece in red. A tiny green bell is stitched into the edge of the stocking, just below a red and cream striped hanging ribbon. Both front and back are embellished with sequins.
This little stocking is perfect just as it is; ready to hang on the Christmas tree. Of course, for that extra touch, why not pop in a chocolate, a sweet, a note or a scented cinnamon stick?
