I created this alternative ending to Judith Kerr's children's book The Tiger Who Came to Tea following years of suspecting that Sophie's Mummy wasn't a hapless, hysterical, housewife as she'd have her husband believe. In my version of the story, she has a nice glass of wine after tricking her smug husband puts Sophie to bed. The giclee print of this design has been really popular and loads of mums have asked me to make a greetings card using the same design. This card is suitable for birthdays, Christmas, Mother's Day, a baby shower or any occasion when you need to show a little mum solidarity and raise a laugh!

By popular demand, my Tiger Who Came to Tea (Alternative Ending) design is now available as a greetings card! Sophie's Mummy has kicked off her shoes and opened a bottle of wine. The text below the image reads; 'Later that evening, while Sophie's Daddy put Sophie to bed, Sophie's Mummy poured herself a large glass of wine. "I can't believe he fell for the old 'a tiger came to tea' story" she chuckled.'
Large, high quality, professionally printed card with vibrant colours and detail. This listing is for a single card, also available in packs of three (£10) and five (£15) buy more and save.
All imagery is made by my own fair hand (and mouse). The original illustration was created using watercolour paints and fine line pens.
Printed on high-quality, 300gsm, A5 white card with brown, ribbed Kraft envelope. Card dimensions (folded) 148mm wide by 210mm high, plenty of room for a gossipy letter or for a group to write individual messages. The card is blank for your own message, the interior is uncoated so it's easy to write in.
Free UK P&P. Cards ship flat, protected by a cello sleeve in a reinforced mailer.
