A hand knitted tweed stitch tea cosy in rich deep autumn.hues.
Starting at the hem I have knitted the rib in a juicy plum coloured yarn.
Then using three different coloured yarns; juicy plum, ochre and crushed raspberry, I have knitted a wonderful tweed stitch tea cosie body.
Nestling on the top is an oversized pompom, in the co-ordinating plum coloured yarn.
This stitch ensures a good fit around the pot, yet has enough ease for a swift removal when a 'top - up' is required.
Suitable for a standard 4 - 6 cup tea pot
