I love ceramics ... their feel, their texture, the sense of warmth and comfort that fills me every time I touch them ... I love the forms they can be shaped into ... the way they gently warm when used to hold food ....... and I absolutely adore my coffee out of one of my own handmade mugs ... a cake from a little ceramic plate ... mulled wine from my own goblets ... I'm getting carried away ............

Do you love ceramics that are a little different?
You've got an example here - a cup and saucer set thrown of stoneware clay and finished with botanical illustrations created by Zanna.
The cup handle is slightly slanted. It's a rather ingenious feature that makes for effortless drinking ;).
The set is lovely for coffee or espresso and irresistible filled with a chocolate dessert or anything else you fancy. Buy a second set and share the fun with a friend.
And as to those ceramic images - they are fused into the glaze at 850 degrees C and as strong and long-lasting as the pieces themselves.
