I created this image in response to an Illustration Friday brief. The theme was Dragon. I wanted to create a simple image with subtle colours. I don't often illustrate animals or creatures so this was a nice change for me and I was pleasantly surprised with the results.

Full description
This is an A4 printed Illustration of a girl and her dragon friend happily rowing on a patch of calm water. It is an imaginary landscape inspired by the story Pete's Dragon. I have used scanned in pencil shading, inks and drawing and then pieced together digitally to create a calm illustration.
The print has sold well at my stalls as it's an accessible piece. I wonder if we all want to row away with a dragon friend at times? He looks like a nice sort of dragon.
It is professionally printed onto 210 gsm, matte, uncoated paper with a 2cm border around the edge making it ideal to frame for a wall in your home. The total size of the image is 29.5cm x 21cm and is hand signed in the bottom right corner.
I post out my prints first class, packaged in a hard backed envelope, wrapped in a cellophane packet to ensure a safe journey to you.
