I had seen other star shaped blankets, but very often these were in either pink or blue. I realise that sometimes a more neutral shade is required for when people don't know if they are expecting a boy or a girl, and not everybody likes beige.

Full description
A from the middle star shaped blanket in white and green yarn. The Green yarn is self patterning so there are patches of solid colour and patches of different patterns. The blanket is roughly 99cm across (39 inches - lays over a single bed, width wise). This is a blanket that I won't be able to make again in this colour - I used the yarn that I had for this project.
It's made from double knit acrylic yarn, so it can be washed at 40 degrees. I don't recommend tumble drying. I should preach here about the virtues of handwashing to ensure the blanket lasts longer....but we're all time poor, so carefully machine wash this item as a compromise ;-)
