Simple modern pots with a rustic twist. All my pots are wheel thrown by me and fired in my electric kiln. I enjoy using stoneware clays and make all my glazes from scratch, decorating my pots with simple colour combinations. Most of my pots are practical items to use everyday around the home and include jugs, bowls, vases and other homeware items. Find out more about my latest designs on my website: www.judeallman.com.
This low shallow platter is great as a fruit bowl or dish for serving.
Hand thrown in stoneware clay, the outside of this bowl is decorated with a pattern of vertical ridges adding texture. The natural speckle in the clay breaks through a plain white glaze used on the inside and outside of the bowl.
A very versatile bowl, great to have in the kitchen and around the house.
Across: 23.5cm (9 inches)
Height: 3.5cm (1.5 inches)
The glaze is food safe and dishwasher safe - although I recommend hand washing larger pots. This pot is unsuitable for traditional ovens, hobs or microwaves.
This is a listing for one large cylinder bowl only. Other props shown in photos are not included.
Please note that variations in shape and glazing surface are a nature of handmade ceramics. The pot pictured is the pot you will receive!
