I will accept returns without question and will give a full refund of the original purchase price, excluding postage, packing and insurance costs. No refund will be issued until I have received the goods and I strongly recommend that you use an insured and signed for delivery service. (Return postage will not be refunded.) Please make consideration of the fact that my goods are either completely vintage or handmade using vintage materials and you should not expect them to be completely flawless.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Daintiest of all the spring flowers, Violet takes care of them all. This pretty handmade fairy is a OOAK original designed by me and carefully created with vintage fabrics and trims.
This sweet little decorative fairy artdoll is dressed in a vintage Sanderson cotton, printed with violet posies on a softly striped background. I added a deep green lace to the hem. Beneath this she wears purple glittered shoes.
I made her bodice from a salvaged piece of dress trim, overlaid on a satin ribbon. She has braid shoulder straps and a velvet millinery violet decorates her waist. A tiny dyed periwinkle shell sits on her chest. I also added a length of marabou feathers around her shoulders.
Her natural hair is adorned with more velvet millinery flowers and a feather. Her wings were created from antique French hand beaded flower petals, finished with a purple button.
Violet measures approx: 27cm tall and has a thread loop for hanging. Please note that she is not sold as a toy, but is a collectable for display. (Postcard and vase of violets not included in the sale.)
