All my items are sent with securely attached tags. Tags should not be removed until you are sure you wish to keep this item - a full refund on your purchase price is only guaranteed if the item is unused and my tags remain attached. This does not affect your rights with regards to faulty items.

Full description
Benbecula clutch bag with appliqued and embroidered flap (free machine and hand embroidery).
This bag is made using a one-off fabric for the flap, made from complimentary fabrics pieced together using multiple techniques, such as hand embroidery, applique, couching and machine embroidery. I make these fabric panels myself, using limited resources and ensuring that each item is a one-off.
Main body of bag is a lovely rusty red woven cotton fabric, which has been lightly stiffened for strength and stability.
The flap fabric has a variety of small fabric sections, with a variety of different sheers and embroidered laces laid over a handpainted cotton base layer.
Colours are soft warm pastels - peach, pinks, lilacs and soft yellows, with silver hints in the embroidery giving a gorgeous gentle sparkle when the light catches it.
All fabrics, yarns, threads and embroidery cottons are carefully selected to co-ordinate, work harmoniously together and please the eye.
Flap is lined in the rust red cotton, whilst the main body of the bag is lined in cream.
Fastened with a crochet loop and vintage button.
25 cm wide approximately
16cm tall approximately.
Flap is 11cm deep.
This item will be posted flat but unfolded - any creases can be carefully pressed out with a medium iron and a slightly damp pressing cloth.
