The inspiration for the marigold embroidery was from mid century everyday household ceramics. The khaki and the grey plus the marigold give the whole tote a very mid century feel.

Full description
I have made the bag using khaki colour cotton poplin. The bag also has hand embroidered, mid century inspired marigolds on grey wool felt in one corner. The tote is fully lined in my own orange dead nettle design printed on cotton. The handles are long so you can carry it on your shoulder. It is quite lightweight so you can fold it and take it to the shops or it could be used as a project/knitting bag. The size is 37cms(14.5 inches) by 41cms(16 inches).
