Gorgeous wool deserves a pretty place to sit; this Ocean Ripple Yarn Bowl is perfect for all your knitting projects.
Thrown on my potters wheel using earthenware clay. The Yarn Bowl was left to dry for a day or so and then put back on the wheel and fettled creating the final shape. The holes and spiral details were hand cut with a potters knife, the bowl was then left to dry for at least a week before firing in my kiln. It was then glazed using a stunning satin turquoise, the bowl was then fired for a second time to 999 degrees centigrade.
My potters mark is on the base.
