Made using beautifully soft black merino wool on a black silk chiffon base this stunning black floral scarf has had a floral design added using various wool and silk fibres. The scarf has then been nuno felted. The scarf has been felted on one side only to maintain its very lightweight and floaty nature.
Nuno felting is a process which allows the woollen fibres to migrate through the silk and bind with it creating a new fabric. The woollen layer is extremely fine resulting in a soft, sheer and lightweight scarf which drapes beautifully.
The scarf measures approximately 128cm x 40cm (50.5" x 16"). A unique item that would look fabulous teamed up with any outfit, smart or casual.
A lovely gift idea for any occasion.
Hand wash in warm water, do not wring, roll in a towel to remove excess water, reshape while wet and press with a cool (wool/silk setting) iron.
