I am happy to wrap and send gifts direct to recipients with a note - just specify their delivery address when you check out (I use track 24 or special delivery so you can follow it round the country to the recipient). Full description
These sterling silver cufflinks feature oblongs of vintage fordite (from the Dagenham ford factory) with swirly patterns in beige, blue, chocolate brown, red and white. Fordite is layers of cured car paint that built up on the walls and rails in the spray booths at car factories so these are an ideal gift for the petrol head in your life who occasionally has to scrub up. Each colour is from where they were spraying a car and some are sparkly - the method for spraying car panels changed in the 80s so this material is no longer made and becoming much harder to source.
One of the cabochons flaked at one corner during polishing - I have stabilised it to stop any further flaking - leaving a larger beige area (see photo 4). It doesn't detract from the piece but I have dropped the price from what I would normally charge for this type of cufflink because of it.
Measure 18mm by 12mm and have been fnished with handmade chain and bar backs. Comes gift boxed.
