I love the quirky personalities of chickens, I am inspired by my childhood memories which are punctuated with cartoons and tv from the 70's, from Peanuts to Bagpuss and the Clangers. I find free machine embroidery helps me to get ideas onto cotton canvas quickly my brightly coloured chickens are similar to cartoon illustrations. Each new piece of fabric sparks a new idea!

Full description
This design is made using a mixture of free machine and hand embroidery, vintage and classic fabrics like gingham and liberty prints are used to give quirky personalities to my chickens. Hand stitched flowers and butterflies help to create a lovely design which would be ideal for new parents and chicken lovers alike.
