Avocets are beautiful and elegant and I wanted to try a new way to display them and framing seemed to be a good option.

Full description
This box frame contains a hand carved avocet. It has a delicate curved bill and glass eye and has been painted with artists acrylics and has been waxed to give a soft shine. It is mounted on a piece of driftwood and attached to a pale blue back board. The frame is a soft white and is 11" x 9" and 1.5" deep approx. It is wall mounted.
Please note that the frame has 2 slightly uneven corner joins but it does not detract from the overall effect.
