Embroidering this little house has been fun! I've been inspired by the houses in the area of Nottingham that I live in; mostly Victorian terraced houses, and I've added details and texture with a variety of stitches, inspired by Victorian stitch samplers.
This house is hand cut from 100% wool felt and hand stitched in place. I've used battlement stitch, couched thread stitch, blanket stitch, spiders web stitch and satin stitch to create tiny little features to make this house unique.
Each hoop is 3" wide, and made from printed cotton, appliquéd with wool felt and hand embroidered. I designed and made each house embroidery in my attic studio at home in Nottingham. The back of the hoop is covered with a card backing.
The framed embroidery will be posted to you in a gift box and wrapped in bubble wrap.
