Description
This mug has been made with a pure white glaze . This combinination of the multiple bees against the white glaze is really fun , because it looks like black polka dots from a distance , until you look close then see the delicate wee bees positioned around the cup. All of my pieces are hand thrown stoneware, high fired to eliminate porosity, thus allowing the pieces to be used in the oven, freezer and dishwasher.I love working in Stoneware because it is less prone to chipping compared to earthenware due to the high firing , added bonus with Stoneware is that ,it also keeps your cup of tea/ coffee warmer for longer too.
