Full description
A beautiful watercolour sketch of the courtyard at Stavropoleos Church in the old town area of Bucharest, a haven of tranquility in the heart of the capital city of Romania. Geranium flowers were growing in stone pots in the cloistered courtyard and added a cheery burst of colour to contrast with the stone arches.
I took my camera and sketchbook, creating preliminary drawings before producing this original ACEO using Inktense pencils and professional watercolours. It measures 64mm x 89mm (2.5 x 3.5 inches), the standard size of collectible ACEO paintings.
This little watercolour will be sent by first class post, protected by cellophane, pretty paper and a board-backed envelope.
