I was on holiday in Cornwall a couple of winters ago and went to the Screech Owl Sanctuary, but found it was still closed for the winter. However one of the staff was there and said we were still welcome to come in and take as long as we liked walking round looking at the birds.
It turned in to a fantastic couple of hours as there was no-one else there and I managed to get some great photographs and now I've turned this one into a striking cross stitch pattern.
