I started raising money for Toybox on 25th August 2023, and to date £412.03 has been raised by my lovely Folksy customers, £398.03 of which was transferred to Toybox between 20/11/23 and 03/12/25.

This piece was inspired by a tutorial from Dragonfly Lane who give permission for items made from their patterns to be sold. I have tried it in a variety of colours and with different types of bead 'caught in the net', but I have to admit that this is one of my favourite combinations as the shiny gold of the net seems to give the glass pearls vibrancy.

Full description
This gorgeous rope necklace looks as if hundreds of little pearls have been carefully placed between the spaces of a net made of tiny seed beads, but in actuality the pearls are stitched into place and the whole piece has a slinky but substantial feel to it. The pearls are high quality 4mm Preciosa glass pearls in pale green, light gold and coffee. They have a lovely sheen which gently reflects the light. The net is made from tiny galvanised Miyuki seed beads: one of the best makers of seed bead on the market. The piece is finished with a gold-plated magnetic clasp, ideal for anyone who struggles with conventional clasps, although please be aware that these clasps can come undone a little more easily if the necklace is caught.
The necklace is 44.3 cms (17.4ins) long and 0.9cms (0.35ins) diameter.
The necklace will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard box.
This item is in my sale section because I have reduced the price by 20%. It is not faulty in any way but I am putting it in my sale because it has been in my shop for some time and needs to be moved on to a nice new home.
