This was a commissioned quilt for a new baby girl in London. Her mum's favourite colour is yellow and she likes quite traditional designs. I picked out 'girly' fabrics with soft pretty colours to work with yellows and chose fabrics which will suit her while she's a baby but will work as she gets older. Many of the fabrics are organic and all are 100% cotton.
This was such a fun quilt to make and a little hard to part with!

Full description
Summer Sunset.............. a commissioned custom quilt for a baby girl in soft summer sunset colours - pink, red, orange, yellow and green. The coordinating back is made with buttery soft organic cotton voile and an improvised strip of Cori Dantini's Animal Menagerie. Designer fabrics and 100% cotton throughout.
Hand sewn binding and mitred corners for neatness. Quilted in random wavy lines across quilt.
